At RYD Mental Health, we believe mental wellness is a right for everyone — including persons with disabilities. Our PWD Inclusion Program champions accessibility, representation, and inclusive mental health support.
We work to ensure that disability is not a barrier to accessing mental health care, and that persons with disabilities are active participants in community conversations about health, well-being, and resilience.

During the Pads Days event at Mbarara University of Science and Technology in 2025, Augustus Twinemugabe represented RYD Mental Health as a panellist, championing the conversation around mental health and disability inclusion.
The event brought together students, academics, and community leaders to discuss the intersection of menstrual health, disability, and mental well-being — reinforcing RYD's commitment to ensuring no one is left behind.
As a panellist, Augustus shared insights on how mental health challenges are amplified for persons with disabilities, and the role faith-based organizations like RYD can play in bridging the care gap.
