Discover how RYD Mental Health is making a difference through our specialized programs — from therapeutic writing to community outreach, disability inclusion, and impactful events.

Healing through purpose, community, and inclusion.
Each program is designed to address a unique aspect of mental health and community well-being.

A therapeutic writing program that helps individuals process trauma and heal through expressive writing.

Bringing mental health awareness, education, and support directly to local communities. In 2025, we took our mission to Mitooma District.

Championing the inclusion and mental well-being of Persons with Disabilities through awareness, advocacy, and community engagement.
During the Pads Days event at Mbarara University of Science and Technology in 2025, Augustus Twinemugabe represented RYD Mental Health as a panellist, championing the conversation around mental health and disability inclusion. The event brought together students, academics, and community leaders to discuss the intersection of menstrual health, disability, and mental well-being — reinforcing RYD's commitment to ensuring no one is left behind.

RYD Mental Health participated in the AMR (Antimicrobial Resistance) Run 2025 — a community health awareness event that brought together health organizations, students, and the public for a run promoting health education and wellness. Our team showed up in full force, combining fitness with mental health advocacy to demonstrate that physical and mental health go hand in hand.
